Abuja, 16th September 2021

Folorunsho Coker, the Director General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation, the Nigerian state Agency responsible for the overall development of the country’s tourism, together with his team, met Silvano Bellinato, President of the Nigeria-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, and Olajide Ogodan, Vice President of the same, to discuss the project to launch the Bilateral Relationship between Italy and Nigeria on tourism.

In particular, the discussion focused on training and development opportunities in this sector, as well as the opportunity to open up to investments for the development of tourist infrastructures in Nigeria: in particular new receptive structures and resorts on the coast and in the hinterland, in the main places of interest due to the presence of cultural and natural attractions.
